Zeineb Ben Rejeb is a first-year Ph.D. candidate at Microcellular Plastics Manufacturing Laboratory (MPML, University of Toronto). She obtained her MSc degree in Agri-food Engineering from Laval University, where she was working on the development of novel heterogeneous biocatalysts through enzyme immobilization on different silica-based materials for complex oligosaccharides synthesis. Her research mainly focuses on the development of functional porous materials for various applications. Currently, she is working on exploring new chemical routes for the fabrication of cutting-edge multifunctional soft aerogel materials.
