Dr. Amirjalal Jalali is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Microcellular Plastics Manufacturing Laboratory (MPML), University of Toronto. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Chemical and Biotechnological Engineering at Universite de Sherbrooke in December 2016. During Ph.D., he investigated on quiescent and flow-induced crystallization of Poly lactic acid, PLA.  He has acquired a good competency in polymorphism and crystallization of polymers and characterization techniques such as DSC, Optical microscopy and XRD. He also obtained experience in advanced and extensional rheology of polymers.
